Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a dedicated team member to process tray tickets, verify diet orders, and ensure timely meal delivery within a comprehensive hospital setting. You will handle high-risk orders, maintain clear communication with the diet office, and work independently to support patient nutrition needs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic IT/data entry skills, and a Food Safety certification within 90 days.

Description

Processes tray tickets to create a meal while using and maintaining all aspects of the diet office automation. Verifies tray ticket compliance and completes double confirmation of high risk orders such as multiple diet restrictions, allergies, food and drug interactions. Able to process and deliver meals and enteral supplies. Must be self motivated, able to work in an unsupervised environment. Utilizes excellent communication skills while problem solving and interacting with team. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.49 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Additional Qualifications

• Food safety certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience should be related to computer skills, with advanced knowledge of data entry, hardware maintenance, wireless printing as well as clerical skills.
• Must be able to troubleshoot computer issues.
• Basic knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy preferred.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially phone etiquette.
• Problem solving skills.

Interpersonal skills and organizational skills necessary.

In lieu of experience, candidate can be enrolled in a nutrition and dietetics program.
