CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc. is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to support maintenance of Class 8 tractors and trailers in Erlanger, KY. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete inspections to keep our fleet on the road and downtime to a minimum.

This hands‑on role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working with shop tools, and adhering to DOT standards. We offer a 12‑hour shift schedule, comprehensive benefits, and a retirement plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on Class 8 tractors and trailers.
• Ability to complete inspections, repair orders, and related documentation accurately.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds in a shop environment.
• Must meet minimum tool requirements.

The Opportunity

If you're looking for a shop where your work matters, this is it. You'll help keep CRST's Class 8 tractors and trailers on the road, support our drivers, and minimize downtime across the fleet. This is a hands‑on role where you'll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and help ensure equipment is ready when our operations need it.

How You'll Work

• Location: Onsite in Erlanger, KY
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) on a rotating schedule. You'll work Thursday through Saturday one week and Wednesday through Saturday the following week.
• Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the hourly wage range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $26.00-$37.50 per hour. A final offer amount will depend on factors such as prior relevant experience, skills, and location.
• Additional Compensation: Total compensation may include overtime or other incentive opportunities, as applicable.

• Ability to work in a shop environment including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must meet minimum tool requirements

Going the Extra Mile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in diesel technology, heavy equipment maintenance, or a related field
• ASE certifications or other relevant maintenance certifications
• Experience working in a fleet maintenance or transportation environment
