Garden City Jeep Chrysler Dodge RAM, part of the VIP Automotive Group, is seeking Automotive Technicians at all levels in Garden City, NY. Positions include Entry-Level to Master Technician and other service technician roles. Full-time, 5-day work week with a robust benefits package and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostics and repair of vehicles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical automotive issues
• Complete brake, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and engine repairs
• Perform routine maintenance and recommended services
• Accurately document work performed and vehicle condition
• Follow dealership and manufacturer repair procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Continue developing technical skills through training and hands-on experience

Compensation

Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Automotive dealership or independent repair experience preferred
• Entry-level candidates and apprentices are encouraged to apply
• Experience with automotive diagnostics and repair
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or RAM experience is a plus
