Johnson Truck Center, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, in Ashland, Virginia, is hiring Diesel Truck Mechanics of all experience levels. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and pay from $25 to $45 per hour.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on diesel trucks, perform repairs and maintenance, and use OEM diagnostic tools in a collaborative shop environment with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of mechanical experience required (diesel preferred).
• Basic understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
• Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required).

Responsabilités

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on diesel trucks and related equipment.
• Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and component replacements.
• Complete engine, transmission, and drivetrain work based on experience level.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Communicate job status and repair updates with service leadership.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Work collaboratively with parts and service teams to complete repairs efficiently.
