Job summary

Waste Pro USA in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced diesel truck technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks. Gasoline, diesel and CNG systems may be involved; welding/fabrication could be required.

You will work with a team, use factory manuals and diagnostic tools, review DVIRs, and maintain safety standards while ensuring high uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, body components and systems in heavy- and light-duty trucks.
  • May include gasoline, diesel and CNG systems; welding/fabrication may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs to maximize safe, productive operations.
  • Communicate issues with managers/drivers and discuss preventive techniques to minimize future repairs.
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
