Job summary

The Truck Shop, LLC. is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic with a Virginia State Inspection License to join our team in Virginia.

Qualifications

Virginia State Inspection License for commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including engine overhauls, brake repairs, transmission work, and electrical system diagnostics.
Conduct thorough inspections of diesel trucks to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair diesel engine components and systems.
Perform Virginia state inspections on commercial vehicles in compliance with state regulations.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including inspection reports and service records.
Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding status of repairs, parts needed, and estimated completion times.
