Job summary

Messer is hiring a Diesel Tractor-Trailer Technician for our Berryville location. You will perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and cryogenic equipment, diagnose issues, and execute repair plans in a safety-focused shop.

We offer pay of $30-$35 per hour based on experience, a 5-day schedule with 45-hour weekly average, health coverage, PTO, and 401k with company match after 1 year, plus on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on mechanical tractor and trailer experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and cryogenic equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Complete all fleet maintenance bulletins and service reminders.
• Review DVIRs and complete corrective actions.
• Maintain diagnostic tools, shop tools, and shop equipment.
• Provide on-call troubleshooting support as needed.
