Job summary

Marten Transport in Tucker, GA is seeking a maintenance mechanic to perform in-house repairs on the Reefer fleet and to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and safely.

The role requires the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, work varying shifts, and withstand extreme temperatures. High School education plus one year of post‑high school training or two+ years of tractor maintenance experience are preferred. Excellent benefits are provided for full‑time employees.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment to meet fleet cost per mile goals.
• Rebuild components on equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and address issues identified.
• Ensure compliance with company, EPA and safety policies.
• Complete repair orders and assign labor and parts correctly.
• Return unused parts to the parts room.
• Attend company training and apply learnings.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as needed.
