Amerit Fleet Solutions in Bordentown, NJ, is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles. The role offers hourly pay between $30.00 and $45.00, with weekly pay every Friday and a schedule Friday to Monday, 11:00am–9:30pm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations
