Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Bowling Green, KY seeks a Diesel Technician Trainee. Training will lead to becoming a Ryder Diesel Mechanic Technician with on-the-job instruction, first shift hours, and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older with English proficiency.
• Ability to learn to use equipment and software.
• Strong time management and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy duty vehicles within yard and service areas.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues.
• Maintain fuel island and assist with shop tasks.
• Complete Technician Training Development Program requirements.
• Support safety procedures and proper documentation.
