Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Diesel Technician Trainee in Alexandria, LA. You will receive paid on-the-job training while working with state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools to service heavy-duty vehicles.

The role offers a first shift from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, no prior experience required, and benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, and vision. Growth comes with merit increases and opportunities for certification bonuses.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn to use and maintain equipment.

Responsabilités

• Move heavy duty vehicles and perform cleaning, fueling and basic maintenance.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and report issues to the shop.
• Maintain fuel island area and assist with facility maintenance.
• Complete Technician Training Development Program requirements.
