Job summary

Kirk NationaLease is seeking experienced diesel technicians for the Ridgeland, SC area. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance and light to moderate repairs on trucks, trailers, and buses, using diagnostic tools and your own set of personal tools.

We offer competitive pay of $40–$50 per hour, weekly pay, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, ongoing ASE certification support, and a strong benefits package including life insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 5+ years diesel mechanic experience required.
• 2+ years trailer repair preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.
• Personal tools required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and light–moderate diesel repairs.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, clutches, wheel seals, and other systems.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
