Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair on diesel engines and truck systems at our Lexington, KY facility. You will troubleshoot ECM diagnostics, repair external engine components, electrical systems, suspension and brakes, and conduct PM inspections according to policy and time standards.

The role requires a valid driver's license, basic math skills, fluency in English, and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services with quality and efficiency to Dayton Freight Lines standards.
• Diagnose, repair and replace engine components and electrical systems.
• Perform PM inspections and services per policy and time standards.
• Repair and align suspension and brake systems; maintain tire program.
• Complete records in EMS and coordinate with Parts Dept.
