Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Spartanburg, SC is hiring a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to keep medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles running reliably. This role offers $30.00-$36.00 per hour with weekly pay and full benefits within 30 days.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and document repairs. The schedule is Tue-Sat, 6:00am-2:30pm, with opportunities for training and advancement nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on diesel maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Capable of meeting physical demands; DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections for safety and compliance standards.
• Document repairs and complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to support fleet operations.
