Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Hutchins, TX team. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure safety and compliance across our nationwide fleet.

You will document repairs, maintain organization in the shop, and collaborate with supervisors to keep vehicles running reliably.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment.
