K.C. Bobcat – Blue Springs is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to provide high-quality repair services on Bobcat construction equipment in a responsive, friendly, and timely manner. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment in a climate-controlled shop environment.

The role offers 4/10 shifts with no weekends, a sign-on bonus, comprehensive health/vision/dental insurance, 401K matching, and paid time off. Training and a family-friendly culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefers 2-year technical training in diesel technology or equivalent experience.
• 1 year fleet/dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3–5 years preferred.
• Must be a team player with a strong customer service mindset.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment to meet customer needs in a timely manner.
• Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on customer or dealer-owned equipment.
• Identify problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems and implement solutions.
• Participate in service training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
• Document all repairs and testing for customers and warranty work.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by Service Supervisor or management.

K.C. Bobcat – Blue Springs is looking to add a Diesel Technician/Mechanic. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and executing effective solutions.

Sign on bonus available! $250 at three months, $250 at six months, and $500 at one year!

• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 year technical school graduate preferred or equivalent experience
• 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
• Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
