Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a diesel technician.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, brakes, drivetrain, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Experience with wheel end repairs, OEM brake jobs, major repairs, and box truck electrical systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred with DOT drug screening capability.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs; high school diploma/GED; ASE certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on brake, clutch, HVAC, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and 5th wheel systems.
• Conduct safety and emissions inspections while ensuring DOT compliance and company safety policies.
• Diagnose issues and assist with drivetrain repairs including drivelines, U-joints, and differentials.
• Accurately document maintenance, inspections, and repairs on work orders and reports.
• Safely operate tools and diagnostic equipment while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
