Job summary

Allegiance Trucks is seeking a Diesel Technician to service and repair trucks and equipment at our Alabama locations. You’ll perform diagnostics, electrical work, and component repairs on engines and transmissions, following repair orders and safety protocols.

Qualified candidates will have 1–2 years of diesel tech experience, a valid driver's license, and a current set of hand tools. We encourage brand experience with International, Isuzu, Ford, Cummins or Detroit Diesel and offer ongoing

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and mechanical aptitude.
  • 1–2 years minimum work experience as a Medium/Heavy Diesel Technician.
  • Must possess a full set of personal hand tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED; vocational/technical repair certs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical service on vehicles and equipment, including troubleshooting, electrical and diagnostic work.
  • Read Repair Orders and perform general and detailed repair of trucks, engines and components.
  • Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, bearings, oil pans, clutches, brakes, batteries and transmissions.
  • Inspect safety devices and guards; ensure repairs meet specs and demonstrate conformance.
  • Maintain a neat, safe work environment and use tools properly; follow safety procedures.
