Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• Must pass DOT, OSHA and Penske safety policies and screenings.
• Able to pass drug screen and DOT-required tests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as removing/installing tires and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through technician training and coaching with supervision.
• Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
