Job summary
Kenan Advantage Group is seeking a Technician I to join our shop team. The technician will perform general property and vehicle maintenance and repair duties in a fast-paced shop environment, focusing on diesel equipment and safety.
The position offers hourly pay with potential increases after training and based on prior experience, plus comprehensive benefits and paid training for career growth within the company.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Air Brake Certification (FMSCR 396.25) or 1+ year of verifiable experience and the ability to obtain it.
- Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Repair (EPA 609) or ability to obtain.
- Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspector 3 years experience or 1 year experience and ability to obtain.
- Diesel mechanics duties include general property and vehicle maintenance/repair in a fast-paced shop.
Responsibilities
- Perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair in shop operations.
- Safely and accurately service diesel equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow safety procedures and training for maintenance work.
- Assist with routine inspections and troubleshooting as directed by supervision.
