Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled mechanic for full-time on-site work in Illinois. You will perform mechanical repairs on class 8 trucks, trailers, and construction equipment, with emphasis on brakes, suspensions, driveline, electrical, engine and hydraulic systems.
A minimum of two years’ experience or technical school graduation is required, plus own tools and transportation. Overtime is offered regularly, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and a signing
Qualifications
- Two years’ experience or graduation from a technical school program.
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and construction equipment.
- Tools and transportation to work.
- Overtime available on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical repairs on class 8 trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, driveline, electrical, engine and hydraulic systems.
- Use computer diagnostics (DDE, Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit).
- Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements.
