Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Indiana is seeking Diesel Technicians to join our fast-paced team. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues for truck components and provide preventive maintenance across a range of systems.

This role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and rotating day/night shifts while upholding safety policies. We offer tuition assistance, PTO, health coverage after 30 days, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components)
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as listed
• Assist customers with roadside services to ensure help is provided promptly
• Provide preventative maintenance services to maintain vehicle reliability
• Move and lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures
• Follow safety policies & procedures to ensure customer safety and satisfaction
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed
