Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a Diesel Technician to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions and A/C components. You will assist customers with roadside services and perform preventative maintenance while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires lifting 75+ pounds and working in varied temperatures.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technician role requires hands-on troubleshooting and repair of diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• Ability to diagnose light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions and A/C.
• Comfort working around customers and drivers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Follow safety policies and procedures always putting customers first
• Work a rotating schedule with day/night shifts as needed
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love’s)
