Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues on diesel vehicles, assist customers, and perform routine maintenance. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.

This role requires the ability to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and participate in rotating day/night shifts. A DOT medical card is provided/paid for by Love's.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel-powered vehicles and vehicle systems preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as listed.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters/varied temperatures.
• Uphold safety policies and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Possess a valid medical card through the Department of Transportation (provided by Love's).
