Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities and interacting with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as described in job functions.
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to rotate between day and night shifts; DOT medical card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds; work in various temperatures.
• Maintain safety and customer satisfaction per company policies.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
