Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Pooler, GA.

The Diesel Technician/Mechanic is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Pay and Schedule

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00/hour (based on experience)Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every FridaySchedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 2:00PM to 10:30PM

Including SRT Bonus Opportunity; up to $15,000 annually; paid monthly and based on performance.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 3+ years’ experience in performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues
• Valid driver’s license
• Must own and maintain personal tools and a toolbox necessary to perform job duties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Working Conditions

Technicians may be exposed to traffic, dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases. Work may involve lifting heavy objects, accessing tight equipment spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling while performing repairs.
