Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and good communication skills.
• Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA HAZWOPER training.
• Ability to work in a team and prioritize daily tasks.
• Experience with diesel engines and semi-trailers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain trailers per DOT requirements.
• Keep DOT compliance docs for mechanical work.
• Perform tire changes and routine maintenance on fleet.
• Coordinate outside repairs, certifications, and inspections.
• Maintain shop area and order parts, oils, lubricants, and supplies.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on all vehicles/equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair transport trucks and semi-trailers.
