Aerotek in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Diesel Mechanic to perform diesel engine repairs on heavy and light-duty trucks. The role includes engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake systems, and electrical troubleshooting using computer diagnostic tools.

This Contract to Hire position is onsite in Saint Paul with a robust benefits package and weekly pay. Ideal candidates have 5+ years diesel experience, DOT certification, and experience with trailers.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience working on diesel engines, Class B vehicles, and trailers.
• Proficiency in using computer diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals.
• DOT certification for repairs on diesel mechanics or trailer repair.

Responsabilidades

• Perform thorough DOT inspections to determine root cause of problems.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Repair and maintain equipment throughout the facility, ensuring all tools and machinery are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs, provide cost estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
