Job summary

Transteck, Inc. is actively seeking a Diesel Technician for our Easton Truck Center. The position offers a salary range of $40,000 to $100,000 annually with opportunities for growth within a large network of locations and state-of-the-art facilities.

We require a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to provide your own hand tools. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must provide own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Determine cause of malfunction; use manufacturers' guides or service manuals.
• Promote sales of labor, parts, and accessories to meet customer needs.
• Perform labor operations using approved procedures, tools, and equipment.
• Document work performed and applicable technical information.
• Note additional needed work and obtain approval before proceeding.
• Clean all parts and keep customer vehicles clean.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the personal work area.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Order parts per dealership procedures.
• Tag warranty parts and return dirty cores promptly.
• Perform repairs in line with standard repair times.
