Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in North Dakota is seeking Diesel Apprentices to learn electrical, air conditioning, wheel end, and braking diagnostics while assisting customers and drivers. The program provides hands-on training in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow within the company.

No prior professional experience is required; Love’s will provide training. Expect rotating day/night schedules, safety emphasis, and DOT medical card support paid by Love’s.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with no professional experience? You will be taught.
• Electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Air conditioning & heating diagnostics and repairs.
• Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs.
• Air system diagnostics and repairs.
• Air brakes diagnostics and repairs.
• Charging system diagnostics and repairs.
• Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement.
• Parts lookup and acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in various temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Rotating schedule between day and night as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
