Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in Tuscola, IL, is seeking Diesel Apprentices to join a fast-paced team. You will interact with customers and drivers, and you’ll be taught electrical diagnostics, air conditioning/heating diagnostics, wheel end and air system diagnostics, and more in a structured apprenticeship.

The program offers on-the-job training, safety-first culture, and a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• No professional experience required; training provided.
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in varying temperatures.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts.
• Able to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
