Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an entry-level Technician Apprentice in Indianapolis, IN. The two-year program trains you in electrical diagnosis, air conditioning, wheel end, air systems, brakes, hydraulics, and preventive maintenance on fleet equipment.

The training includes hands-on shop experience, company-paid weeks in Dallas, mentorship, and a path to a Level C Technician, with eventual placement in a Republic Services unit.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing a two-year training program.
• Willingness to travel to Dallas, TX for 9 weeks.
• Flexible schedule including some nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Assist with electrical diagnosis, air systems, hydraulics, and brakes components.
• Learn and apply shop practices and safety standards during apprenticeship.
