Love's Travel Stops in Alabama is hiring Diesel Apprentices to join a fast-paced environment where you will interact with customers and drivers. No professional experience?

No problem—we will teach you the skills needed to diagnose electrical, air conditioning, wheel end, air system, and braking systems. You will learn diagnostics and repairs, move and lift up to 75+ pounds, and work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Air conditioning & heating diagnostics and repairs
• Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
• Air system diagnostics and repairs
• Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
• Charging system diagnostics and repairs
• Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
• Parts lookup and acquisition

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in various temperatures
• Safety and customer satisfaction are prioritized
• Rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
