Love's Travel Stops in the United States is launching a Diesel Apprentice program in West Point, MS. No professional experience is required; training will be provided to teach electrical, air conditioning, wheel end, and air brake diagnostics, plus basic computer diagnostics and parts lookup.

As an Apprentice, you will assist customers with roadside services, learn preventative maintenance, and perform physical tasks including lifting 75+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude or interest in repair work.
• Comfort with learning electrical, air, wheel-end, and braking diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Able to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters; work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to protect customers and teammates.
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed.
• Possess ability to obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
