Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. is seeking an Apprentice Technician to diagnose, repair, recondition and maintain heavy equipment and components under supervision.

You will work toward completing college coursework while delivering high-quality service with the team. Below you will find required education and a set of preferred experiences including automotive/diesel coursework and 1–3 years in clerical, customer service, or technical roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Automotive or diesel coursework in high school or equivalent preferred.
• Interest in working on cars, trucks, motorcycles.
• 1–3 years administrative/clerical experience.
• 1–3 years customer service experience.
• 1–3 years technical or mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, recondition, overhaul and maintain heavy equipment.
• Prepare accurate service and inspection reports.
• Order replacement parts and ensure correct parts.
• Communicate with Apprentice Coordinator and shop staff.
• Work as part of a team to deliver quality solutions.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
