Job summary

Schneider in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Diesel Technician to advance maintenance skills and support fleet operations. Based in Phoenix, you will perform preventive maintenance, annual inspections, and repairs on tractors and trailers, and complete express services.

You must have a technical degree in diesel technology or at least one year of diesel technician experience, plus computer systems experience and the ability to provide your own tools within 30 days.

Qualifications

Technical degree in diesel technology or minimum of one year diesel technician experience.
Experience with computer systems relevant to maintenance tasks.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Must provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform PMs, annual inspections and repairs on tractors and trailers.
Complete express services like tire changes, brake adjustments and minor electrical repairs.
Communicate status updates to internal customers.
