Ryder is hiring an experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Memphis, Tennessee, offering weekly pay and excellent benefits. You will work on heavy duty vehicles, with the schedule and shift noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identify root causes and perform repairs as required.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Use Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Follow safety, DOT, MOT and corporate guidelines.
• Provide additional support as needed.
