Maverick Transportation, LLC is hiring immediately for multiple Diesel Mechanics to maintain, diagnose and repair our commercial vehicles and related equipment at our Portage, IN facility. We offer multiple shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and maintaining tire programs. Requires a high school diploma or GED with related training and experience. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area.
• 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training, and 1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment within specified Service Repair Times (SRT).
• Follow established maintenance procedures and guidelines.
• Safety procedures are followed at all times.
