Job summary

Gabrielli Truck Sales is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Technician for the 2nd shift in The Bronx, NY. The role requires repairing and maintaining diesel engine trucks, with emphasis on electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.

You will diagnose malfunctions, document work, and participate in training while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. CDL is a plus and own tools are required; MS Office skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair work as outlined on repair orders to dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses malfunctions and performs repairs on diesel engine industrial trucks.
• Examines vehicles to determine required safety or service work.
• Documents all work performed and recommendations on the repair order.
• Participates in manufacturer training and stays updated on technical bulletins.
• Maintains dealership tools and manuals and returns them in good condition.
• Complies with federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA requirements.
• Operates all tools and equipment safely; uses Microsoft Office when needed.
