The role requires at least one year of experience with Class A trucks and involves maintaining trucks, trailers, and yard tractors to federal standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing drivetrain and electrical systems, performing PMs, and ensuring safety and reliability across the fleet.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working on Class A trucks.
• Experience with air brakes, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.
• DOT inspections and compliance knowledge.
• Tire repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment.
• Complete repair orders and maintain safety and reliability.
• Follow company safety rules and keep a clean work environment.
• Assist drivers with outstanding vehicle issues.
• Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers, and yard tractors.
• Operate gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and safety tools.
