Job summary

Advantage Truck Group (ATG) is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician in Massachusetts. The role offers competitive hourly pay, potential bonuses, and full benefits from day one.

You will work on buses, trucks, and heavy equipment, with opportunities for career advancement within ATG’s eight locations. The position requires 2–4 years of technician experience, a valid driver's license, and preference for dealership experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate from technical or trade school preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years Technician experience.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL and DOT health card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair or overhaul buses, trucks and heavy equipment.
• Test drive and inspect vehicles.
• Diagnose malfunctions and discuss findings with customers.
• Read and interpret diagnostic test results.
• Raise vehicles using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
• Inspect brakes, steering, transmissions, engines, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance and oil changes.
• Adjust wheels and tighten components.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
• Test-drive to ensure proper operation after repair.
