Position Overview: You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles, including trucks, vans, and other medium-duty fleet vehicles. You will use your expertise to ensure vehicles operate at their peak performance, precisely identifying and fixing mechanical and electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines and related components.
  2. Repair and maintain diesel engines, fuel, exhaust, electrical, and other mechanical components.
  3. Inspect and test vehicle systems to identify defects or damage.
  4. Replace or repair defective parts, including brakes, transmissions, radiators, etc.
  5. Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
  6. Keep detailed records of work performed through our Shop-Ware Software System, as well as notes and inspection photos.
  7. Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  8. Stay up to date with the latest diesel technology and repair techniques.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as a Diesel Technician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience working on diesel engines.
  2. Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes.
  4. Proficiency with diesel diagnostic tools and equipment.
  5. ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
  6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  9. Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus) with insurable motor vehicle report.
