Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Shop Maintenance Technician to promote safety, prepare repair orders, and work safely in the shop or on road calls. The role requires knowledge of DOT rules and the ability to perform inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.

You will communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor and carry out tasks assigned by the CSC Manager, while maintaining a clean and safe shop environment and complying with company policies.

Qualifications

  • ASE brake certification preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet timelines.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform brake maintenance/repairs on tractor/trailer units.
  • Inspect, repair or replace domes, valves, vents, or other equipment as necessary.
  • Ensure proper treatment of components including air compressors, fuel pumps, hubs, wheels and springs.
