Job summary

Love‘s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components. You will assist customers with roadside services and perform preventive maintenance to keep trucks moving.

Eligible candidates must be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in varied temperatures, and follow safety policies. A rotating day/night schedule and DOT medical card (paid by Love’s) are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as part of daily duties.
• Provide preventative maintenance services and inspections.
• Assist customers with roadside services and support.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
