Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with customers and drivers to keep travels efficient and safe, performing repairs on light mechanical systems and offering preventative maintenance.

The role requires lifting 75+ pounds and working in variable temperatures, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction. This is a great opportunity at a nationally recognized travel stop network.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction according to company policies.

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
