Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a Diesel Technician to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on customer and driver fleets in a fast-paced setting. You will assist with roadside services, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varied temperatures, and rotating day/night shifts. Love's covers DOT medical card costs and promotes career development within a growing nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing light mechanical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance where applicable.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with safety policies
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
