Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Jackson, Mississippi is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist roadside customers, and perform preventative maintenance. This fast-paced role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and working in various temperatures.

You'll work a rotating day/night schedule, prioritize safety, and may obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as part of routine maintenance.
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and in varying temperatures
• Always prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love’s)

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
