Job summary

Commercial Transport is seeking an experienced Tractor Trailer / Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team on the night shift. This position performs preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of Class A tractors and food-grade pneumatic tank trailers.

Our fleet consists of late-model Freightliner and Kenworth trucks at the Beech Grove terminal. We offer stable, long-term employment with a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of tractor and/or trailer repair experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical experience.
• Must provide own tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) services on tractors and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems and air conditioning systems.
• Conduct computer diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and repair ABS systems.
• Service brakes, suspension systems, and other mechanical components.
• Mount and dismount tires.
• Perform general maintenance and repair on Class A tractors and trailers.
• Assist with engine diagnostics and repairs as needed.

Commercial Transport is seeking an experienced Tractor Trailer / Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team on the night shift. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of Class A tractors and food-grade pneumatic tank trailers.

Our fleet consists primarily of late-model Freightliner and Kenworth trucks maintained at our Beech Grove terminal. We are committed to providing stable, long-term employment and a supportive work environment for every team member.

Overview

Commercial Transport is seeking an experienced Tractor Trailer / Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team on the night shift. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of Class A tractors and food-grade pneumatic tank trailers.

Schedule Options

• Monday–Friday: 3:30 PM – Midnight
• Sunday–Thursday: 3:30 PM – Midnight

Shift selection must be established before the start date and will begin upon completion of training.
