Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain tractors and trailers, perform annual inspections, and handle repairs during first shift with opportunities for additional hours during a 1st shift schedule.

You will complete PMs, express services, and communicate progress to internal customers. A technical degree or relevant experience is required, along with owning your own tools within 30 days of hire.

• Strong attention to detail.

Job overview:

• Further develop your maintenance skills as a Diesel Technician in Indianapolis, IN.
• Handle annual inspections.
• Complete troubleshooting and component replacements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform PMs, annual inspections and repairs on tractors and trailers.
• Complete express services like tire changes, brake adjustments and minor electrical repairs.
• Communicate status updates to internal customers.
