Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to service heavy- and light-duty vehicles and ensure safe, efficient travel for customers and drivers. You’ll diagnose and repair mechanical systems, assist roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced, customer‑facing environment.

The role involves lifting 75+ pounds, working in varied temperatures, and following Love's safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
• Work in various temperatures
• Uphold safety and customer satisfaction per company policies
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love's)

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel‑end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
• Work in various temperatures
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
